Take a product from design to market
Under every finished design, a Take it to market card lists what comes next, in the order most inventors go: see it at real size, print a prototype, get quotes, have it made, package it, show it off and launch it. Nothing is ordered or charged until you choose it.
- 01
Open the Take it to market card
It sits in the chat under your latest design and always follows the newest version. Each row says what it does and has the button for it.

- 02
See it in your space
On an iPhone or iPad it opens in Quick Look, and on Android in Google’s Scene Viewer, so you can place it in your room at real size. On a computer it opens full screen in 3D; drag to turn it.

- 03
Print a prototype
Choose Print it for me and Creai prints the parts and ships them to you in the US, including Puerto Rico. The price is $19 plus $6 per print hour, US shipping included, paid from your credits; you can order up to five. Or print it yourself: Open in OrcaSlicer opens the build plate in one tap, and Download 3MF gets the same plate for Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer or Cura.

- 04
Get factory quotes
Download RFQ package gives you a zip to send to any manufacturer. It holds a written request for quotation at the quantities in your cost estimate, the STEP files, the spec, the drawings and the parts list. The request asks for unit prices, tooling cost and who owns the tooling, lead times, minimum order and shipping terms.
- The box you design goes into the package once you have designed or approved it
- After you release a revision, the package names it and includes its change order

Have Creai source it
Choose Have Creai source it to have Creai find the manufacturer and the packaging, get samples made and checked, and manage the order. Say how many, and if you like a target price, a date, where it ships, the packaging and your branding. You get the factory quote by email and on the card. Creai’s fee is 10% of the order (minimum $150), charged only if you accept.
- Packaging choices: no retail packaging, a polybag with an insert card, a printed retail box, a kraft box with a printed sleeve, a blister or clamshell, or custom
- When you accept, the fee is paid from your credits and the factory total is invoiced separately

- 06
Package it
Design the packaging opens a retail box sized from your product’s 3D model. Creai lays it out with your brand, the product shot, benefits and a barcode area. Change any word, colour, board or size and the box turns in 3D as you edit; changes save as you go. Write it for me rewrites it from a request like “make it feel premium” (it uses a few credits), and Download print file gives you the die line with 3 mm bleed.

- 07
Make a share link
Make a share link gives you a public page for the product. Anyone can turn it in 3D, show its dimensions and, on a phone, place it in their room at real size. The page shows the design as it was when you shared it; share again to move it to the newest version.

- 08
Launch it
Build the launch page starts a new site with the product shot attached and a message ready to send: a pre-order page that shows what the product does and who it is for. Check the message, change anything, then send it to build the page.

Good to know
- The Open in OrcaSlicer link lasts an hour. If it has expired, open the product again for a fresh one.
- Print it for me is for products that fit a desktop printer, up to 250 mm. Anything bigger can still be sourced.
- Before you send quotes out, release a revision so the factory quotes a named, approved design.
What it doesn’t do yet
- Costs and print times are estimates from the model, not quotes.
- Printed prototypes ship within the United States, including Puerto Rico, for now.
- Nothing is ordered automatically. A print order or a sourcing request starts only when you send it, and a factory quote goes ahead only if you accept it.
